Brausa United Futebol Club 06 Blue Boys National League Preview:

BRAUSA 06 Blue will play their first National League games this weekend in Tampa, Florida. They are ready to be tested at the next level after winning the Jefferson and Southampton Cups last season.

06 Blue have a strong spine with Caleb Lawson at CB, Guillermo Ramirez and Gavin Zamenski in midfield, and Tyler Nail upfront. Every year, BRAUSA players are gifted the opportunity to go on tour in Brazil, which has been very beneficial to their development on and off the field. This year, Gavin, Guillermo, and Tyler traveled this to Salvador where they trained with local and professional teams, EC Bahia and EC Vitoria.

06 Blue is coached by Sergio Moura and Ryan Zamenski. Moura (DOC of BRAUSA) has been an integral part of the teams’ development so far. His experience coaching professional teams in Brazil has given players multiple new perspectives on how the game is played. In his career, he has worked with several professional Brazilian clubs, EC Bahia, EC Vitoria, and Cruzeiro and has coached several top Brazilian players, including David Luiz and Hulk.

Moura and Zamenski plan on keeping the players positive and motivated ahead of their experience playing the top teams in the country. The team focuses on utilizing their technical ability to allow them to control the tempo of the game. Collectively the team may lack size and physical strength, but they make up for it with heart and determination which allows them to compete with the best.
