National League Recap: December 27-30: Boys 14U-19U

This past weekend in Tampa, FL, the 14U boys kicked off their National League season, while the 15U-19U boys played in their second round of National League games.

 

14U

2019 National Champions, 2006 Pipeline Soccer Club SC Pre-Academy, finished the weekend unbeaten with three wins and a tie. Christian Rugel Jr and Daniel Klink were clinical in front of goal, with 3 goals each.

Next Level Soccer Ajax finished their first weekend unbeaten with three wins and a tie. They scored 13 goals with 6 different goal scorers. Christian Argueta and Magnol Jordany Profeta led the team with 3 goals apiece.

Brausa United Futebol Club 06 Blue went 0-4 in their first weekend of play.

The 14U boys’ teams will return to Tampa in March to play their final games.

 

15U

Brausa Blue placed 7th in the Black Division with 2 wins and 5 losses. Their performance in attack improved as they scored 7 goals in the final 3 games. Ryan Belal led the team in goals with 5.

Washington Capital United 05 Blue finished with 5 wins and 2 losses. Nicholas Barrette scored 4 goals over the 7 games. They currently sit atop their division but will have to wait till March to see if they clinch their division.

Bethesda Soccer Club Blue ended the weekend with 5 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie in the Red Division. They will have to wait till March to see if their position at the top of the division will stand. In the final three games, they scored 15 goals and conceded 1 goal. Kristian Fletcher scored 7 goals and is second in the race for the Golden Boot.

Pipeline SC 05 Pre-Academy finished 8th in the White Division with a record of 0-5-2. Dylan Shepherd scored 3 goals.

 

16U

Pipeline Pre-Academy finished the Red Division with 6 wins and 1 loss. Pipeline scored 20 goals between 8 players, with Jacob Murrell being the standout with 4 goals. They could potentially win the division if results are favorable in March.

Potomac Soccer Association Blue 2004 ended the weekend in the White Division with a record of 3-3-1. Miguelangel Kery scored 3 goals.

 

17U

Bethesda Blue finish their campaign with 2 wins, 3 losses, and 2 draws. Cavan Fernandes and Oluwaseni “Seni” Joseph scored 2 goals each.

Baltimore Celtic Soccer Club Premier win the Red Division and qualify for Nationals after winning all 7 games. Lawrence Aydlett finishes 3rd on the scoring charts with 5 goals.

 

18U

Baltimore Celtic 02 clinch the Black Division after winning all 7 games. Spencer Hanks incredibly scored 14 goals, the second-highest total in National League History. Celtic scored 30 goals over their 7 games.

Brausa 02 Blue will play their second set of matches in March.

 

19U

Pipeline Pre-Academy finish with 2 wins, 4 draws, and 1 tie. Julian Elguera scored 3 goals.

OBGC - Olney Boys & Girls Community Sports Association OBGC Rangers 2001 Blue finish in 8th place with 1 win, 3 losses, 3 ties. Riley Daiger scored 5 goals over the two weekends.
