National League Recap: Nov. 24-27, 14U Girls
Two Maryland teams, Maryland Rush Montgomery Soccer Club Academy Coyotes Blue 06 and Pipeline Soccer Club 06 Pre-Academy, competed in National League over Thanksgiving Weekend in Boca Raton, Florida.
MRM Academy Coyotes Blue 06 started off their National League campaign brightly with two wins, a draw, and a loss in their first four games. They currently sit in second place in the Black Division with three more games to play. McKinley Heaven leads MRM offensively with 2 goals and sits among the top goal scorers in the 14U age group. Gemma Davitian, Sheridan Snow, and Gabrielle Wisbeck also contributed with a goal each.
MRM rounds off their final National League weekend in March with a tough test against FC Dallas 06, who currently sit atop the Black Division. Three wins in Las Vegas will see MRM clinch the 14U Girls Black Division!
Pipeline 06 Pre-Academy Girls endured a tough start to National League in the 14U Girls Blue Division. They began the weekend with a 0-0 draw, then subsequently lost their next three games. Despite the results, Pipeline fought hard and only lost by a goal in each game. Pipeline play their final three games in March, so they have plenty of time to regroup and finish their National League campaign on a high note.
