1. What are you most passionate about?

I am most passionate about giving back to the community especially advocating to the youth that no dream is unattainable. I want to show kids through my experience and knowledge that anything is possible and if you believe in yourself and your dreams, you can reach them. My ultimate goal is inspiring the next generation of athletes.

2. Why did you join Let’s Play!?

I joined Let’s Play because I felt it was a perfect opportunity to share my knowledge and skills for the game. Also, make soccer enjoyable and create memories with all the young athletes.

3. What have you enjoyed in your experience working with Let’s Play!?

I enjoyed meeting everyone, the coaches and kids. Being just a couple weeks in, I have already bonded with many of the kids and feel a connection with every single one of them. They always come with crazy energy and it’s enjoyable to be around them because I can see their love for the game. I think it's fantastic that Let’s Play are dedicated to providing opportunities for kids to stay active and healthy, and to develop important life skills through sports and play.

4. What background, education, training, or experiences prepared you for what you are doing now?

I have a lot of experience with coaching, whether it be a soccer camp counselor or assistant coach at a club. I have coached kids of all different ages and personalities. Also, being a soccer player myself, has helped me a lot when it comes to coaching and mentoring.

5. What’s your vision for the community you serve and how can others contribute/support?

My vision for the community I serve is to create a safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued. I believe that we can achieve this by working together and supporting each other. There are many ways that others can contribute and support our community, such as volunteering or simply spreading positivity.

6. Who were you inspired by as a young player?

My greatest inspiration when I was younger was definitely Messi, Marta and Ronalddinho. I would always try to mimick their playing style and copy their skills all the time. I also love their story as well, coming from the bottom to the best players to ever play the game, all through hard work and dedication.

7. What is the best piece of coaching advice you ever received?

One of the best pieces of coaching advice I ever received was to avoid comparing your journey to others. Every person is unique, and their path to success will be different. Instead of comparing yourself to others, focus on your own goals and work hard to achieve them. Remember that success is a journey, not a destination, and that every step you take is progress towards your ultimate goal.

8. What advice would you give a young player?

If I were giving advice to a young player, I would tell them to always work hard, stay focused, and never give up on their dreams. Success in sports (and in life) takes time and dedication, and it's important to stay committed to your goals even when things get tough. I would also encourage them to have fun and enjoy the game, and to remember that every challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow.
