The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
Robert and his Lara have been married for 24 years and have two kids, Ryan (21) and Paige (19). Robert has been employed with the City of Rockville for 19 years. He serves as the Construction Inspection Supervisor and possesses 15 certifications from the International Code Council (ICC) which includes a Master Code Professional (MCP), 1 of only 14 in the State of Maryland. He was appointed by the governor in 2016, to the Maryland State Elevator Safety Review Board where he is currently serving in his fourth year.
In the Spring of 2007, Robert began coaching his daughter’s 1st grade girls’ soccer team. In the Fall of 2008, he was instrumental in the formation of the Damascus Sparks U9 girls travel team for Damascus Soccer. He has served the Sparks as the treasurer for the inaugural season and then as the team manger for the next 10 years until the team aged out at the end of 2018. He served as the WAGS (Washington Area Girls Soccer) club representative and is currently an age group scorekeeper for NCSL (National Capital Soccer League). He is in his 3rd year as the Tournament Director for the Mid-Atlantic Cup, also serves as the Assistant Director for the Rush for the Cup tournament for the past 4 years. In 2011, Robert obtained his grade 8 Referee certification where he continues to serve the community by refereeing hundreds of games.
