The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

The Maryland State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA) is committed to providing the safest environment possible for all the players, coaches, referees, and parents.  As we prepare for the 2021 MSYSA Cup Events, it is important that we work together, support one another, and adhere to all established guidelines at the state, county, and local levels to successfully conduct our programs.

Please note the following protocols that will be in place for all MSYSA State and Presidents Cup events in 2021.

  • The team manager will be required to make sure that players who have a temperature above 100.4 or any COVID symptoms are not present at the cup competition.
  • Benches will be removed/not used for cup competition.
  • Coaches must separate 6-foot areas designated for each player on sideline using cones.
  • Masks – coaches, and spectators must wear a mask at all times.   Players must wear a mask unless on the game field for warm-ups or the actual game.   If teams meet before the match, at halftime, or at the end of the match all players must wear a mask at this time.
  • Will enforce social distancing rules whenever possible
  • The home team will supply the game balls.  They must be wiped down before the match and at halftime.
  • All event staff will receive pre-event training on protocols and guidelines
  • Teams must leave bench area immediately at the conclusion of the match; teams for the next match cannot come to the field area until the bench area is completely cleared
  • No sharing of water bottles, drinks, food, or personal items
  • Hand contact of any kind is not permitted

These protocols will be updated as additional information is changed/received from either the state or from local jurisdictions.
